California Train Travel from Top to Bottom |

Go to international destinations like Europe or Japan and train travel is a way of life. Granted they have a much better rail system then California train travel. I can’t say that I have used California train travel but I have ridden Amtrack from Seattle to Portland. It is an inexpensive way to get from point A to point B. Slower then flying but faster than the freeway, trains are a relaxing option to see new places.
Since the Golden state is very large, California train travel can be the best way to see it top to bottom. Northern California travel is much greener, and clean then the big city of LA. Each have their positives and negatives but for the person who has never visited California I suggest going north and south.
North there is Napa Valley and San Francisco. South there is Newport Beach and Los Angeles. California train travel is an inexpensive way to see both sides of the state. This time of year is perfect for travel. Dinner trains are also a nice way to spend a romantic evening while changing up the scene.
