travel and tourism in california
There's no question that California is one the most popular vacation and travel destinations in the U.S., and travel and tourism in California is on the verge of getting easier with the opening of the new San Bernadino International Airport. It's almost ready for the flood of tourists coming in to enjoy travel and tourism in California. According to an article published recently in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin newspaper, " 'If everything stays on track, we expect to see passenger service before the end of this year,' said Bill Ingraham, aviation director for SBIA. 'By that we mean walk up, buy a ticket and take an airplane to (domestic) destinations.' San Bernardino International Airport has for years been working to accommodate commercial passenger travel. The airport completed a $34 million renovation to its 10,000-foot runway in 2005. The current project is a $40 million-plus renovation to its 70,000-square-foot passenger terminal." When this airport comes online, sometime in September, people looking to enjoy travel and tourism in California will have one more option to choose from.
