Swine Flu Hampering Travel and Tourism in California |

If you have watched the news in the past couple days then you have heard about the worldwide cases of swine flu. There have been 73 confirmed cases of swine flu worldwide according to the World Health Organization. The scariest part is that the majority of cases are in the United States. There is not word where the outbreak originated but there have been cases in California, New York and Texas. Mexico, Canada and Spain have also confirmed swine flu cases. This outbreak is hampering some travel and tourism in California because people are scared. Obama said not to worry and the problem is being contained but many are thinking twice about travel and tourism in California, New York and Mexico.
It looks like the outbreak started either here, in the United States or in Mexico. Swine flu is common among pigs but this is a new strain of the disease. If you are worried about possibly contracting this flu, avoid large crowds in the areas listed to have cases of swine flu. If you are already following a California travel guide, don’t worry about it. There are not enough cases to be alarmed.
