When my friend and I realized that we had the same long weekend off from our jobs, we knew that we had to go on a little trip together. We sat down and each made a list of the top three places that we wanted to go. At the top of our list, we had both put that we wanted to travel southern California.

We started planning right away. First, we went online to research and book our vacation. It was so easy to find great discounts online. Before we knew it, our trip was planned and all that we needed to do was pack. The two of us could not wait to travel southern California. We spent the next week planning, laughing and packing together. We were already bonding even before our trip began.

When our weekend came, we were more than ready. As we began to travel southern California together, our relationship grew stronger. We told stories and gossiped. We laughed and we cried together. When ever I think about traveling southern California, I will be thinking about my friend.
