In the Hollywood, Burbank area there are more then a few things to do for tourists interested in getting a behind the scenes look at film and television studios among all other things media related. For those who want an in depth look and history lesson at one of the largest studios in the country go no further then Burbank where multiple Warner Brothers Studio lots are located. The main lot houses the iconic WB water tower and tram tour which costs something like 20 dollars a person (it has been awhile since I did it), hanger after hanger of studio and a outdoor sets for various shoots. Behind the Warner Brothers walls is a recreation of New York streets, an all American small town centered around a grassy square, the frontage to a hospital most notably used for E.R. and all sorts of other sets.

Travel and tourism in California is great any time of the year but I suggest staying in the southern portion this time of year for the best chance of clear weather. It is said to be rainy here next Tuesday and Wednesday as a heads up. Being your LA area California travel guide, I also suggest Universal Studios for their rides and movie set tram tour. It’s a lot of fun and City Walk is right next door stocked with restaurants, bars, clubs, a brewery, movie theater and retail shops. More travel southern California info on the way.
