It wasn’t until I moved to the LA area that I really fell in love with Thai food. As a kid my dad would always take us to not so traditional restaurants one being a Thai buffet but I never really liked it then. The chicken and rice dishes always tasted good but there was nothing that made me say, “Let’s get Thai tonight.” I must not have been getting the right thing because now I love a majority of things on Thai restaurant menus. Just east of Hollywood, there is Thai Town. Ask any California travel guide where to get good Thai food and they will direct you here.
Next time you decided to travel Southern California in the LA area I recommend checking out one of the many Thai restaurants east of downtown Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. This is right in the heart of Thai town about 5 or so minutes away from the Kodak Theater. Many times little hot spots like this are looked over during travel and tourism in California because it is not one of the major tourist attractions but for fans of Thai food it is the place to be.
