A couple of weeks ago, a Southern California travel guide would have warned vacationers of how large the coastal waves were. I went to the beach during this time and saw the six foot high waves breaking 20 feet from the beach line. I was scared to go any deeper then my knees. The water was rough. For surfers though it was a Mecca of great rides. All of the people I know...
